Which Sit Stand Desk Is Right For Me?

Discover the height differences between our frames and ensure the one you select is ergonomically suited to your height.

  • Less Than 175cm Tall?

    All Desks Except Pulse SeriesAll our product ranges are suited to users from 152 - 195cm (5' - 6'4")

    The Pulse Series has a higher seated and standing position and is recommended for users above 175cm tall.

    If you are below 152cm we can build a solid keyboard tray which reduces the height to your keyboard by 12cm.

    Tip: Its always a good idea to measure the height of your current desk. Most fixed office desks meet the Australian standard of 72.5cm to the top of your desk top.

  • Between 175-210cm Tall?

    Pulse Series

    The Pulse Series Standing Desk range is 9cm higher than all our other desks to accommodate the Mito Power System which is built into the leg. Ergonomically speaking we recommend this product for users between 175 - 210cm (5'7" - 6'9").

    If you are below 175cm and are looking to purchase the Pulse we recommend considering a keyboard tray which will reduce the desk height of your keyboard by 12cm. Contact us to discuss your keyboard tray requirements.

  • Adding Castors or a Treadmill?

    All Standing Desks

    All our standing desks can be fit with castors for greater flexibility. Castors add 7cm to your desk height and we recommend keeping this in mind when considering your seated working position. Castors also act as a great way to increase your desk height if you are taller than 210cm (5'7").

    If you are going to be adding a treadmill we recommend measuring the height of the treadmill and adding it its height yo your normal standing height. Ensure the desk can raise by this amount so you can maintain ergonomics while walking at your desk.

Standing Desk FAQ's

How long does it take to get from sitting to standing?

Average is around 10 seconds for a movement from seated (70cm for me) to standing (104cm). Our desks move at an astonishing 40mm per second (unloaded). Put 50-60kg on the desk and it will still move at 32mm per second. Load the desk right up to its capacity and you will slow the desk down to around 23mm per second.

How strong is a Stando desk?

We have a desk to suit everyone, our strongest frame can lift up to 300kg!

I need a custom size, can you help?

Yes, we are able to make desktops in custom sizes and shapes. You can choose from a wide range of melamine finishes or custom timbers. Please contact us for a quote.
Note: We are unable to customise our Rubberwood or Bamboo desktops.
