STANDO WARRANTY

At Stando, we know the products we sell are of such a high standard and quality, we provide our customers with a 10 year warranty on our electric sit stand desks, most accessories unless otherwise stated and chairs. This warranty is subject to the below terms, but we are so confident in what we do, that we want you to have the peace of mind to know a Stando product will last the distance. With our 10 year warranty, you have the same level of confidence that we do in our products and service.

FIRSTLY & IMPORTANTLY - ZEN SPACE DESKS WARRANTIES

Yes, we will assist with warranties from Zen Space Desks. Please have your order number, invoice number or the name that your desk was purchased under and send us an email at zensupport@stando.com.au. Please do not call, or live chat about these warranties as our team will need to follow a specific process to look up your old order with Zen Space Desks. In most cases of a warranty related issue we will offer parts for free, however we will need to charge a flat $40 fee for processing the order, handling and freight charges. 9 out of 10 times issues can be resolved with a simple desk reset and we encourage you to ensure this process has been followed prior to contacting Stando. We will do our best to assist you as quickly as possible and understand that you have have already waited some time to have this issue attended to.

OE Elsafe Products (1Plug, Pixel, Qiksilva). Products sold by Zen or Stando as part of our electrical offer are manufactured by OE Elsafe, a leading Australian supplier of soft wiring product. These products are offered with a 1 year limited warranty. If you are experiencing issues with any of these products please email us and make sure you include a photo of the silver or grey sticker on the back of the product. Any products within the 1 year warranty period will be covered by Elsafe, unfortunately any product older cannot be supported.

The benefits of our 10 year warranty on this page are in addition to other rights and remedies available to you as a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law. If you are located outside Australia, please refer to your local relevant consumer laws.

Stando warrants products, subject to the below conditions, for 10 years from the date of purchase or delivery, whichever is the latter.

Please note: Your desk may need to be reset upon initial setup. Please refer to your included instruction manual to complete a manual reset prior to contacting us.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM?

When you make a warranty claim, Stando will examine the product and decide if it’s covered under this warranty. We will then, at our discretion, either repair the defective product or replace it with the same or a comparable product. In circumstances where we replace an item, you will be responsible for its installation. In these cases, Stando will be responsible for the cost of repairs, spare parts, labour and travel for repair staff that Stando incurs, provided that the product is accessible for repair without Stando incurring any additional expenditure to gain access. This, however, will not apply in cases where repair work has not been authorised by Stando. Any defective parts removed in the course of repair works will become the property of Stando. If Stando no longer sells the item, we will provide an appropriate replacement. Stando will decide, at our discretion, what constitutes an appropriate replacement.

YOUR GENERAL LEGAL RIGHTS

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The benefits under our guarantees are in addition to other rights and remedies under law in relation to goods.

WHAT IS AND ISN’T COVERED BY OUR WARRANTY

DESK LEGS, LIFTING MOTORS, HAND CONTROLLERS AND STRUCTURAL SUPPORT PARTS

The Stando 10 year warranty covers defects in materials, workmanship and function on all desk legs, lifting motors and structural support parts. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts and scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents. Further, the warranty does not apply when any part has had its weight limit exceeded, when lifting motors have been operated for more than 2 minutes in any 20 minute period, where a product has been connected to the wrong voltage or a faulty power supply, if any part has been placed outdoors, in prolonged direct sunlight or in humid environment, or if any part has been improperly used, handled, assembled,

DESKTOPS

The Stando 10 year warranty covers defects in materials, workmanship and function on all main parts of the Ultra, Pro Series, Exec and Heavy Duty Quad desks. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents. If the desktops have been placed outdoors, in prolonged direct sunlight or in humid environment, or if the desktops have been improperly used, handled, assembled, installed or constructed.

MONITOR ARMS

The Stando 10 year warranty covers defects in materials, workmanship and function on all monitor arms. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts and scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents. Further, the warranty does not apply when any part has had its weight limit exceeded, if any part has been placed outdoors, in prolonged direct sunlight or in humid environment, or if any part has been improperly used, handled, assembled, installed or constructed.

ACCESSORIES

The Stando 10 year warranty covers defects in materials, workmanship and function on all accessories unless otherwise stated. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts and scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents. Further, the warranty does not apply when any part has had its weight limit exceeded, if any part has been placed outdoors, in prolonged direct sunlight or in humid environment, where a product has been connected to the wrong voltage or a faulty power supply, or if any part has been improperly used, handled, assembled, installed or constructed.

ERGONOMIC CHAIRS AND STOOLS

The Stando 10 year warranty covers defects in material and workmanship on the structural frame and moving parts of the chair or stool. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts and scratches, or damage caused by impacts or accidents. Further, the warranty does not apply when any part has had its weight limit exceeded*, if any part has been placed outdoors, in prolonged direct sunlight or in humid environment, or if any part has been improperly used, handled, assembled, installed or constructed.
*Please refer to the manual or guidebook provided with each product to determine its weight limit.

DOWNTIME

Stando will not be liable, under this 10 year warranty, for any cost, expense or damage incurred by an owner while a product covered by this warranty is out of service during performance of any warranty adjustment work. You may have additional rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
