How long does it take to get from sitting to standing?

Average is around 10 seconds for a movement from seated (70cm for me) to standing (104cm). Our desks move at an astonishing 40mm per second (unloaded). Put 50-60kg on the desk and it will still move at 32mm per second. Load the desk right up to its capacity and you will slow the desk down to around 23mm per second.

How strong is a Stando desk?

We have a desk to suit everyone, our strongest frame can lift up to 300kg!

I need a custom size, can you help?

Yes, we are able to make desktops in custom sizes and shapes. You can choose from a wide range of melamine finishes or custom timbers. Please contact us for a quote.
Note: We are unable to customise our Rubberwood or Bamboo desktops.

Ergonomics isn't a one size fits all solution. Corners desks are no different. While 3 standard sizes are offered on our website, we don't like seeing useful space go to waste. We encourage you to see if a custom sized corner desk may be the answer you're looking for.

Stando can customise any of our corner desks to have personalised shapes, sizes, angles and finishes to best suit your exact space and need. Perhaps a narrower desk return is required or a larger keyboard radius. Depth also comes into play depending on the line of work you're in along with various factors such as monitor quantity and size, requirement for printed documents on your desk etc.
